A question for you photographers that shoot using flash.
I normally use wireless triggers to fire my studio heads. But more often than not they let me down when I'm shooting and I don't always get the shot I want. So as you can see, I'm using a sync cable attached to a hot shoe mounted adapter. But this is flakey too. I have the cable taped to the adapter (because it falls out), and that taped to my camera (because the adapter has a poor connection to the hot shoe electronics). So, has anyone got any other recommendations?

Needless to say, this was shot using natural light. She was originally checking out the images we'd just taken on the camera she is holding. But I thought this would make for a nice image.
