I took this photo on Outeniqua Moon Perchern stud & guest farm

it was just after 8h30

its all natural light and i was facing the sun

Nikon D3100 and 55-200mm lens

Inspiration

the owners ask me if i would take photos of this gentle giants and it was my 1st challenge to take photos of horses for a place

Editing

just play with levels so its a bit lighter and clear

In my camera bag

Nikon D3100 and 18-55mm and 55-200 and 18-300mm and flash

Feedback

any one can take photos of horses but if you really want to take good photos of them you need to spend time with them and feel them and not by touching and NO flash with any animals
