Thought I'd travel back a year to when I started my practice in macro photography and give a good polish to some of my first macro shots.... can say I have definitely improved in some areas... This is Cookie, he was a temp pet spider for a couple weeks which I kept in a very large coffee jar. Sounds cruel, but I couldn't let him out as I was scared to, to say the least, he was huge! However, I fed him a moth and dead flies everyday for the duration and in that time, I over come my fears and my curiousity of these wonderful creatures grew massively. Eventually, I let him go. Have to say, I miss this little guy.
