Knaresborough is a historic market town in North Yorkshire, England, fHarrogate. This viaduct over the River Nidd was completed in 1851 and built to carry a branch of the Leeds & Thirsk Railway. The four-span bridge stands 78ft high above the water. The viaduct was designed to blend with the architecture and character of the town.
