Behind The Lens

Taken at Turf Hill a beauty spot in the New Forest Hampshire England

Nikon D750 24mm 1.8 mm lens tripod Lee filters
Inspiration
The whole scene just came together looking for a New Forest sunset scene, the horses are where they stood just timing and luck to get all the elements to come together
Editing
Some shadow detail lifted, selective sharpening and noise reduction
In my camera bag
Currently Nikon D850 and D500 fixed focal lengths Nikon 20mm 24mm 50mm 85mm. I do have a Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 for D500 very sharp versatile lens. An assortment of Lee filters soft med hard grads and Polouriser
Feedback
Always go out in the Golden hours, the more you go out the luckier and more practiced you become, know your camera inside out(e.g. my ISO was adjusted from 100 to 400 in this shot in a split second in order to gain a higher shutter speed otherwise the horses would have been blurred)
