This photo was made in a January snow storm in Silver City, New Mexico. The door is on a commercial building which by law must open out in case of fire. The door is made of untreated wood and is aging very fast. You can see the snow on the bottom panels getting the wood wet. The frame has a piece missing and hopefully the more it is distressed the prettier it will get.

We don't get many winter storms with snow during the day here, so I was off to as many places as I had on my list to make photos of when this storm hit.

Than you for the "Superior Skill" peer recognition. I like how the top of the frame and two panels are darker because they have had snow melting on them.

I think it very much looks and feels soft like a watercolor painting. Thanks for the kind comment and the "Top Choice" peer recognition.

Simple design elements, muted color palette, effective composition--gallery worthy! Kudos!

You nailed this one with "muted color palette" now everytime I discuss this photo that will be part of my attribute description - thank you and also for the "Absolute Masterpiece" peer recognition.
