Fountain on an area of Heroes Square central square of the city Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad)

The oldest area of Kropivnitskiy town that on 14 September 2009 marked its 170th anniversary. It was founded on the spot donated by Yelisavetgrad Fundukleyem Ivan Ivanovich, son of the former mayor commerce adviser John Y. Fundukleya, in his will in 1839.

By that time there were located brick building with deep cellars. It was destroyed in the great fire in 1834.
