Location
I made this macrophotography in the garden of my house. It was in a summer sunshine day, where we can discover many creatures around the green life. The Helix Aspersa, commonly called Snail Garden, is a extraordinary specie with a lovely texture on her.Time
I think it was around 3 PM, after the dinner when I habitually sit down to rest in the garden front for smoke some tabbaco. When I saw the Snail Garden walking up in a plant like a palm tree and I think this is a amazing shot (I need my camera!). Although Snails are "slow" in macrophotography everything flows faster.Lighting
The light was magnificently Natural of a summer day, such as I like to use the light.Equipment
I used a Canon T2i with a lens Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 with extension rings without tripod.Inspiration
As most of my photographs, I feel passionately attracted and inspired by all the marvelous creatures that God has created. Especially of the beautiful species that go unnoticed in a common and typical day in this distant galaxy.Editing
I made the photograph on Raw and only I worked the sharpness and the shadows to give more protagonism to the snail. In my camera bag
Normally I have a Vivitar 24mm f/2.8, Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 and my Russian ZM-5A 500mm f/8 plus Vivitar MC Tele Converter 2x-1. Basically it’s all I need.Feedback
I think the best advice to capture in wild photography is never lose the patience and always to be positive. The time changes everything, where the greater scope it's done with patience and tranquility, as mentioned Sudhir Shivaram about the concept of work on the subject. You have to let the mind think, wake up and experience a call unto the creative process.
