Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot at home, just when I was starting with photography. I used to take pictures of my cousin at first, we really work(ed) well together.

Time

I don't really remember, it was just spontaneous, but surely daylight. I was aiming for the light on her neck to nicely show her bone structure.

Lighting

It was taken in my room and now that I realise, that room and lighting in it have neer disappointed me. I always get nice lighting from there.

Equipment

Taken with Nikon D3100 and 18-55mm, basic equipment of an amateur.

Inspiration

I probably was inspired by some photographer and his pictures, I always am. And human body amazes me, that's a plus.

Editing

I did. Walls in my room are green, so I wanted to hide that, and at the time I did not know much about color changing and adjusting, so I guess the first choice was turning it into black and white, but not leaving it to just those but adding some purple/blue, to make it more interesting.

In my camera bag

I usually take my Nikon D5200 and 50mm 1.8 Nikkor with. When necessary, I use tripod, but that's very rare.

Feedback

Focus and try different angles. And enjoy it! And not just in this case.
