Very cool shot - the sunlight just accentuates the color of the needles.

Location
I captured this image not far from my home, at a place called Horn Pond. It's an amazing little wooded paradise in a otherwise city like town.Time
Well, you can tell it's at golden hour, but which one? This is right around Sunset, because I sleep in too much for Sunrise, plus, in my defense, the light is better at Sunset for this location anyways :)Lighting
Just amazing golden light accenting the beautiful orange of the pine needles.Equipment
This was with my Canon 60D and my 18mm-135mm kit lens on my Dolica Tripod.Inspiration
I always come here, and I've seen the light here in all sorts of conditions, and I knew I had to capture it at sunset one of these days. So I did.Editing
Of course! This is an HDR blend of 3 images to make sure I had detail in all the of the image in this extreme lighting. In my camera bag
Well, this is an older image, and I've changed my kit around a lot since then. I now shoot Sony mirrorless, so I usually have my A6000 with my metabones speed booster and my vintage Canon FD lenses I shoot with. Primarily my 35mm F2, 24mm F2.8 and 55mm F1.2Feedback
If you can, visit the location multiple times, in different light, and see what light looks the best. That's what I did, and after a few visits, I walked away with this image.
