I spent a month in Iceland in 1972. One of the most incredibly beautiful places I've ever been :)

Location
This photo was taken at Seljalandsfoss in Iceland, during a trip I took there - the novelty of being able to walk behind this waterfall was too good to miss!!Time
This was around late afternoon local time (in Iceland) when we were dropped off here for a chance to stretch our legs (and for me to take plenty of photos!)Lighting
I liked the quite light contrast of the sky and water against the darkness of the rocks and shadows it created.Equipment
No tripod, no change of lens, no flash, just the camera doing its thing!Inspiration
I wasn't looking to take this shot, just seized the opportunity to take it when the chance arose - sometimes spontaneity gets me more from my photos than my planned shots.Editing
I did a little work on the contrast to make the image "pop" a little more, but otherwise this shot is as it was taken. In my camera bag
I actually carry very little, my camera, a Panasonic Lumix, and some SD cards.Feedback
Sometimes I find planning shots can leave me frustrated and instead try to be spontaneous with angles and framing...I often end up pleasantly surprised!
