As I was walking along the desolate shoreline of June Lake,a peculiar shape took form, shook me from my wandering, daydreaming state and dropped me off to a place somewhere between a dream and reality. To most wanderers, this object presented itself as nothing more than a great piece of warped and weathered drift wood washed ashore to be used for the nights bonfire. But, to me, this "tortured angel" became the centerpiece of an epic fantasy story.
