This is one of our local Lowe’s Gray Horned Owl mascots in town. They were here for about 6 months but are gone now. I was able to catch this one in the rafters about 3 stories high, with those marble circle eyes right before it took off to hide in their pallet of fertilizer bags way up in the corner of the Lowe’s warehouse. Mom and Dad were nearby on another rafter. They took refuge here after one of our fires in the Coronado National Forest.
