Location
Making the morning rounds, feeding the horses, we pulled into this outlying pasture. The fall mornings often had fog hugging the grounds around the farm, which is just outside of Ocala, Florida.Time
By the time we got to this pasture, it was probably 9:00 am. Feeding started at 8, and this is one of the last pastures where the horses were fed.Lighting
The lighting was magical!! When I realized the sun was so perfectly mystical in the fog, I simply took advantage of nature doing the work for me.Equipment
Whatever cell phone I was carrying at the time was my handy camera. No flash...the light from Mother Nature was exquisite!!Inspiration
Nature's perfection was my total inspiration for this shot. I was in the right place at the right time, and I could not have planned this exact moment.Editing
I may have done a modicum of cropping, to assure there was not too much ground below the tree that would have upset the balance, but the photo was left without filters or adjustment. In my camera bag
My current cell phone is a Motorola Droid Play....it takes clear, colorful photos and is only a click away. When I am going to the water, I grab my little Coleman underwater and go enjoy the day. As an amateur photographer, my enjoyment is in the 'snapshots', not the set up ones.Feedback
My advice is always the same.... keep your eyes and your mind open. With the magic of digital photography, shoot it!!! If it caught your eye, it's worth a couple of seconds to aim and click...if the camera didn't see what you did, delete it and try for the next one. Main thing is to enjoy the world around you and hope others find enjoyment in your capture of it!!!
