JC on the Patio

In spite of the appearance that this is a studio shot, this is actually my lovely wife on the back patio! The backdrop is the grass- and leaf-covered burm where our backyard meets the neighbor's yard.

Tree in the background behind the upper left of the hat (as the viewer sees it) painted out with a combination of Photoshop CC's healing brush and clone tool.

Rather a lot of hair painted out with a combination of Photoshop CC's healing brush and clone tool.

Lots of little white fuzzies painted out with PS CC's healing brush.

Lens vignette added with Nik's Color Efex Pro 4.

Some burning and dodging throughout the image done with control points in Nik's Viveza 2.

This image was a good lesson in what to look for before you press the shutter button!!
