Location
I took this photo on a little adventure one weekend to the North Georgia mountains. Living a life that causes me to be constantly on the go, I enjoy taking little photo trips to myself every now and then to get back to nature and expand my creativity.Time
This was taken on a beautiful spring day in the early afternoon.Lighting
Even though it was decided to shoot during the mid to late afternoon, I was lucky to have such beautiful light pouring through the forest trees.Equipment
I used a Nikon D810 with a 300mm zoom lens.Inspiration
Always surrounded by technology and work, I am always inspired to shut everything out and completely lose myself to nature and the beauty it has to offer. Taking a walk off the beaten path and exploring my surroundings almost brings you back to a primal state. It's peaceful.Editing
Not a lot of post processing was needed. The colors from the surrounding pine straw, foliage, trees and leaves really provided a great deal of color. A small tinker of the orange level was all I really wanted to add.In my camera bag
I normally carry a Nikon D810, a 24mm nikor prime lens, 105mm macro, 300mm zoom, 50 mm prime, tripod, ring light, and external flash.Feedback
Keep calm and enjoy yourself. Of course we want to take great shots, but I feel it will come to you if you're mainly enjoying yourself and taking it all in. In a way I feel this is more important than going out to look for a shot.
