The Victoria Jubilee Head obverse design was adopted from 1887 for silver and gold coins only, and was continued until the old head portrait was introduced in 1893. It was the second major portrait type of Victoria's reign, and was introduced for the golden jubilee (50 years) of Queen Victoria's reign. She acceded to the throne in 1837.
Obverse:
The engraver's initials J.E.B. appear raised on the truncation of the shoulder.

The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci's magnificent design of St. George on horseback slaying the dragon, first used on gold sovereigns of George III in 1817.

Thank you! I had searched coins in ViewBug and did not see any coins displayed in a collage. I think my next effort with coinage will be to take one photo and capture both front and back at the same time, wish me luck.
