Very interesting! The gradation from light to dark works well for this photo. It could use some more blacks though. The photo seems to be mostly gray with some white

My options were narrowed at the time. How to make this shot only without lighting equipement or tripod. Camera was stuck btw the table and books :)

Location
I took this picture home, in Paris.Time
The time of day isn't relevant, since the lighting comes from an electrical source.Lighting
When I took this shot, I had absolutely no lighting equipment, I had to duct tape a A3 piece of paper and light it with a halogen lamp. This could easily be reproduced with a soft box, which is the only light source. I poured water white taking the shot, which I took off in postEquipment
Canon EOS 50D I used a table to replace instead of a tripod Aperture: f/6.3 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/500Inspiration
It was the middle of the night, I could't sleep and I was bored..Editing
Yes: I took the bottle of water out and the water flow pouring outIn my camera bag
I just switched to Sony. I now have a A7R2, and manfrotto tripod, a 100mm lens and a 28mm lens I still have my 6D with a 150-600mm from Tamron, a 85mm and a 50mm from Canon.Feedback
Make sure the shutter speed is high enough and that the histogram doesn't show burned white values
