Battling with their antlers only comes in the fall after antlers have hardened and hormones drive these magnificent animals from being best friends to bitter enemies. I waited a few hours for some bulls to come into this summer meadow not knowing they would show off for me. Monroe Mountain, Fishlake National Forest, Utah.
