Thank you inesgardea. I'm not a Vet, however my dad served in the Vietnam War and the photographed items belong to our "borrowed son, Pvt. Huff" who is currently serving our for our country.

Location
I actually took this photo in our son's bedroom. Our "borrowed son" is serving in the Army and just returned home from AIT graduation. He and his girlfriend (soon to be fiance) were in the other room. I slipped away with Jon's military items to snap this quick photo.Time
The photo was taken early afternoon, inside with simple ceiling fan lighting. No window or natural light was used.Lighting
I used no specific lighting. I actually had no natural light source avail, only the lighting from the ceiling fan in the room.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 70D, 85mm. No flash, nor other equipment was used.Inspiration
I wanted a photo with an overlay effect. I wanted the American Flag to be included to symbolize the importance of our Armed Forces protecting our country.Editing
Post processing included fading and layering each of the separate photos. I actually used an app to do the layering, as I don't typically do a edits on my images.In my camera bag
I have my 70D, 85mm; 18-35 F1.3-5.6; and 70-300 F4-5.6. I recently purchased a second hand Canon 70-200 IS II F2.8 - while this is a beast, I absolutely love the image quality produced.Feedback
