Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in my home. I don't have a studio anyway ... unfortunately :)

Time

On the watch in the image, you can see the actual time when the image was taken. 7,5 minutes past seven in the evening :)

Lighting

LED light was used and that is the reason of a blue tone. The temperature was well over 5500-5600 Kelvin and I don't recollect the right specification. It was a cheep LED light which should to be used on a truck or a car.

Equipment

Camera was Olympus E-500 with 14-42 mm Olympus Zuiko kit lens at f:22 and ISO 100. Exposure time was 41 sec.

Inspiration

It was just an idea. I wanted to show the time flow and leak of it. The hand shows the flow and the angle of the watch shows the leak of time, which will newer be back.

Editing

Only sharpening a bit and some contrast was added if I remember well.

In my camera bag

Sometimes I drag all (in a car) and sometimes I go light with only a camera body and one lens when I'm hiking. Olympus E-520 and E-3 bodies, Zuiko lenses as follows: f:2, 50 mm Macro, 12-60 mm f:2,8-4 SWD, 50-200 mm f:2,8- 3,5, old OM reflex 500 mm f:8, tele-converter 2X and flash. I always have a difficult time to make a choice what to take with me.

Feedback

The key word is idea. The rest will come automatically and all really depends what one want to show.
