From a lover of abstract photography - this is simply gorgeous. I'd put a large print of it on my wall. Amazing. Well done.

Location
In my garden. Fairly devoid of many flowers but then I like weed flowers too :)Time
The light needed to be low in the sky to get the right angle to create a picture in the water drop, the sun's angle is critical to get a reasonable image. I chose the early morning around 6.30 am. Low soft lighting.Lighting
The angle of the sun is critical -low enough to reflect the object directly behind but also to give light the overall capture. I have spent many hours trying to get this right - very hard to explain but when trying be flexible to try anything to get the effect you believe is in there :) The camera at eye level is easiest!Equipment
As the angle is low I sat my camera on a rolled up t-shirt and lay on the ground. I used a chord release, as I was aware this wasn't stable I also set my camera to a rapid 'sports' setting. Only used available light as I am not advanced enough to know how to work with a flash in this situation. Canon EOS 700D, Canon macro lens EF-S 60mm 1:2.8 USM,chord release + T-shirt.Inspiration
I wanted to create something pretty - I love the water drop effect and the dainty beauty of dandylion seed heads, picking a daisy was easy they were the perfect round shaped flower I wanted. At first I thought I hadn't got the shot I'd hoped - then in editing I found it!Editing
I cropped plus balanced the brightness, contrast and highlights. I also took out unwanted light specks that distracted my eye from the subject. In my camera bag
I am only just beginning so am still building up my kit - but as this is so totally addicted I can see it expanding quite rapidly ;) So far I have my 2013 Christmas present Canon EOS 700D kit, Canon macro lens EF-S 60mm 1:2.8 USM, chord release and a Takara T TV-2595LXS tripod.Feedback
Each person will see the same scene with different eyes, observe others work, see what you can do to expand or utilize this knowledge, experiment, know the basics and be prepared to throw the rule book out the window! If it looks good to you - JUST DO IT ... don't worry if no one else likes it - do it for you. You could try to copy my effort and miss something beautiful .... be true to yourself.
