A sea of red at the Tower of London yesterday. For those who don't know, each ceramic poppy in the moat represents one of the 888, 246 British Military deaths that occurred during WWI. The final poppy will be 'planted' on the 11th November - one hundred years after the Armistice, and then the entire installation will be dismantled, the poppies having already been sold to members of the public.
