Location
This photo was taken in my backyard after a snowstorm. The yard around my house is where I take most of my pictures and I love to see how I can capture nature in a whole new perspective.Time
This photo was taken in the afternoon. The storm had knocked the power out which was a little inspiration for me to go out and see the snow.Lighting
The sky was full of clouds which allowed the right amount of light through. It also gave it the perfect background.Equipment
I took this photo when I was just learning my way around photography and cameras. I had a cheap GE camera but it got the job done.Inspiration
What inspired me to take the photo was all of the snow. We had a snowstorm the previous night that had given us about 16 inches if snow on the ground. I'm short as it is, so I had to trudge through the snow, up and down the hill in my backyard, to find the perfect snow shots. You could hear trees breaking from the weight of the snow and then you could look on the ridge and see which tree it was from the puff of snow.Editing
I do not do any post-processing.In my camera bag
I usually just have my camera and tons of memory cards.Feedback
With perspective photography you have to be willing to get down and dirty and sometimes stay in uncomfortable positions. This photo I had to hug the tree so that I could get just the right angle and focus.
