Horseshoe Bend is just west of Page, AZ. It's a crazy spot where the Colorado River forms a horseshoe shape and makes this canyon before opening up into the Grand Canyon. My Induro tripod was about 8 inches from the edge. I rented a Canon 10-22 lens for my trip for this shot specifically and I'm glad I did. This shot requires a REALLY wide angle to get everything. I now own this lens, because it's awesome on a crop body like my Canon t2i.
