This is my favorite dog to take on photo excursions in the wild, she has endless energy and will flush all birds and animals from their hiding spots. Field-bred Labradors like Maggie are commonly higher energy and more high-strung compared to the Labrador bred for conformation showing.

Although fox reds are not registered as being different to yellow you can find breeders that specialize in this particular color. The fox red color is basically the darkest form of yellow that a Labrador retriever can be. Which does not really make them rare, but certainly a bit different.

She is smart as she is fighting fit and everybody loves her that knows her.

Oh what a perfect point of view! Great hunting dog portrait. It appears she had been running just before the photo was taken, as her blood vessels and muscles are all bulging.
