Location
I made this photo in Asakusa area in Tokyo in 2011.Time
It was winter evening about 8 p.m.Lighting
The pagoda looked so bright and gorgeous on the background of the dark sky. I will try to catch the golden flare of roof edges in contrast with darkness.Equipment
I used Nikon D3200 with AF-S Nikkor lenses 35 mm. Instead of the tripod I use some wall near me to fix my hand.Inspiration
I had my first walking in the night Tokyo and I was impressed by the lights, colors and shapes.Editing
Usually I use some postprocessing to enhance colors and make some accents on contrast. But in this case I only remove some noise and add light on the golden edges. In my camera bag
I really enjoy to make a pictures by different brands of cameras. But my Nikon D2300 is very useful in the night photosessionsFeedback
The night photography is not easy, especially for travelers as a require a lot of equipment. But if you be more creative with the surrounding stuff and to try to find good balance between F, ISO and exposure you can catch a very good shot.
