This dam lies on the Capilano River in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Behind it lies Capilano Lake, one of the main sources of water for the Metro Vancouver region. At the bottom is Capilano Canyon, through which the river flows until it reaches Burrard Inlet, just a few kilometres downstream. Despite the dam at its head, the Capilano River is known for its coho salmon and steelhead trout fishing.

All this beauty and nature is within about a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Vancouver. One of the reasons I love living here. kjmphotographic.com

I like the green in this shot working with the concrete to frame the water and the lines draw the eye through into the shot. It almost feels like a dream of falling. A fantastic composition. Nice work.
