Location
The photo was taken in Lincoln Woods state park, RI. Five minutes away from my home. It is a beautiful place where I go every week looking for landscape and nature shots.Time
I wake up 5AM and headed to the park, was cold and I wanted to experimenting with the bracketing to do some HDR images.Lighting
The soft light before the sunrise gave it a really dramatic look and to be honest the result was more that i expected.Equipment
I used my Canon T3 with remote trigger and 18-55 mm lenses at 18mm, I also used 0.4 Gradual ND FILTER. And a portable manfrotto tripodInspiration
Photography is a hobby for my, and also a good therapy to relief the daily stress;I still experimenting and I always has been fascinated with sunrise and sunset photos, so i wanted to tried myself and i still want to improve it.Editing
Yes I used Photoshop cc to create a HDR imagen combining 3 images at diferent exposures. Then I brought up the saturation and give it a little more contrast. I do not know much about it but I guess if i keep doing it I will learn it on the proper way.In my camera bag
With the camera body I carry three lenses, 18-55mm, 50mm and 75-300mm ; also a speedlite flash, UV filter, Polarized filter, ND Filters and Gradual ND Filters, a tripod and a shutter remote.Feedback
Either early in the morning or at the sunset make sure you will be at the location with enough time to set everything up, tripod is required due to the slow shutter speed. And bring coffe with you to make your experience more enjoyable.
