I think that green is also the perfect calming colouring needed as a backdrop for such a serene image, love it!

Location
This is taken at my backyard. In Stockholm.Time
It was noon time. Bright and Sunny.Lighting
It was taken in natural daylight, handheld. The background was important here to get the desired contrast. Hence the subject was framed against the dense green bush. Due to the use of Macro lens, I could reach very close to the subject. This helped to blur the not so good background like a very silky green backdrop.Equipment
600D, 100 F2.8L Macro.Inspiration
It was more of a challenge to capture a flying small object like this :) It somewhere gives a message of free will...Editing
Not much. just converted RAW to JPEG and a bit of trimming. In my camera bag

If you are trying to capture small flying object like this, please use Continuous auto focus mode (Servo) and use the center auto focus point only. However, if you are using more advanced camera body with high density cross type auto focus points, you can use zone auto focus as well.
