I absolutely love watching my kids play in the yard. When my wife decided to bring out the bubbles, I thought it would make for some great shots.Editing
I processed the photo in Lightroom 5. I started by converting it to black and white. Then using the brush tool I darkened the background. Other than that, small touch ups using the brush in LR5.In my camera bag
On any given day, I have my Nikon D610, Tamron 70-200VC f2.8, Tamron 24-70VC f2.8, Nikon 50mm f1.8, Nikon sb-700 flash, my rocket air blower, various memory cards, shoulder strap, Pocket Wizard Flex and PW Mini.Feedback
My advice for capturing this would be to get in close and tight on the subject, have a fast shutter speed preferably 1/250th and faster, and when capturing bubbles I tend to use manual focus more than auto-focus. Definitely takes patience and practice, not every shot will be what you want, but just keep playing with the settings in small increments until you get the desired outcome.
