It was taken during the Air Show of the Blue Angels in Duluth, Minnesota, USA.
PEACE is more than the absence of WAR!
Appreciating and being grateful to the past, present, & future generations of all Native Nations & Indigenous Peoples, whole ancestral lands we explore, visit and play. Please always impose a LEAVE NO TRACE ethic on your exploration, adventures, & expeditions. Follow local regulations. Love the only planet we have. Please do not trash her. Now, the latest unfortunate trend has been for people dumping the RV waste tanks any place they wish. That's just wrong!

Wonderful POV - not the typical photo and with a wide angle lens too really adds a sense of motion like the plane is flying while on the ground - great capture! voted creative textures

I take it this was done with a fish eye lens, I have yet to use one but this effect works well for this fighter plane. It gives a sense of the power and dominance it would have in the sky. The clouds fill the void as it they were a blanket waiting to be pulled back. Good image and nice perspective.

Wonderfully composed wide angle fisheye from an eccentric POV. Bravo for a very visually startling and giddily disorienting image.

Location
This photo was taken at Duluth Airport, Minnesota, USA.Time
It was taken at exactly 7:59:56 AM. I went early with some other photographers at the air show because we paid for photographers' time. We roamed around plane by plane with our guide. Though some of the guide said we cannot really get near to the plane but sometimes I used my hard head I went so near and lay down to get the photo I wanted to have.Lighting
At the time we were inside the air show ground, the sun was still up and giving us this beautiful clouds, however there was a sudden change where the planes cannot really fly. However, I utilized well my time. Though we don't really capture planes flying and soaring high but I really look for subjects for me to photograph. Like this one.Equipment
I used canon EOS 5D M II and my canon lens EF8-15mm f/4L FISHEYE USM.Inspiration
I was fascinated with the modern things like this fighter plane and some other planes in the place. When I looked it at in my Fisheye lens, I was more encouraged because I saw interesting Point of View. So even though I brought 3 cameras with different lens by the time I used more my 5d MII with the Fisheye in it.Editing
Yes I did, there were some photographers nearby and i cannot dictate them what to do or not to interrupt my taking of photos. They kept passing in front of the lenses so I erased them to get rid of them.In my camera bag
I have filters with me during the time but i was not having the chance to use it because I handheld my camera and it will just decrease lights. I needed more lights so I decided not to use it. I brought with me my 3 cameras.Feedback
Sometimes in an opportunity like this where you pay more just to take photos you need to utilized it. Take note to research the place where you will be taking photos first, like in Minnesota the weather is really unpredictable and you will have unpredictable lighting too. Geographically speaking Duluth is North of Minnesota and Lake Superior so the pressure from the lake will really affect the condition of the event. Put it in your list. You need to have plan A, B, C, and D so that if one does not really works so you need to apply the other one and so on and so forth. I know security is very strict and your Photographer's guide will tell you not to do something but sometimes you need to break the law just to get the photo you really wanted. If you think you are not really creating chaos and you just want to take photos then do it anyway they will just look at you because they know you pay for that particular time.
