A weekend trip to the mountains hoping for some nice fall colors and came across 3 moose at the summit of Cottonwood pass near Buena vista, CO. It was 24 degree and the wind was blowing which made the cold wind hurt. We managed to hike a very short way down the snow covered hill and got about 30 yards away from the moose. While shivering I managed a couple decent shots.
