Oh my I really like this one. Full of color and drama in the sky and refections and nice silhouettes of the tree.

Behind The Lens

Location

Outside my condo, Lake Erie, Oak Harbor, Ohio

Time

Sunrise

Lighting

It was all natural, partly cloudy.

Equipment

Nikon D5100, 18-55mm kit lens and a tripod

Inspiration

I like landscapes and this was a good sunrise.

Editing

I pushed the saturation a lot on this one.

In my camera bag

Nikon D5100, Nikon 55-300mm kit lens, Nikon 18-85mm lens, neutral density filters, polarizing filter, spare batteries, SB600 flash and an 8X8" soft box flash attachment, lens cleaning supplies and cables.

Feedback

This shot was taken early in the morning on a cold, windy winter morning. As with any sunset/sunrise, you need to take a shot every couple of minutes as the sky is ever changing. Dress warm, set up your tripod and enjoy the show.
