Vultures are my favorite birds of prey and I believe they are undervalued birds.
They are extremely important to nature and yes also to humans. They eat any meat and they are a natural prevention of disease outbreaks. By example in South Africa Vultures they feared outbreak of Anthrax due to decline of Vulture population.
Unfortunately they are under constant threat of decreasing in populations in many countries.

Lovley shot. The birds of prey are also killed by some farmes who see them as a threat to their livestock, howver I beleive there has been an imrpovement. Many die of secondry causes ie poisend meta rates etc.

Hello Jan! thank you!! Yes... same goes for foxes, if one would just understand any animal needs to feed and it is up to us to protect our lifestock against predators instead of killing them. Here you will still see lots of foxes killed and hanged in trees.. Oh, that is great to hear things are improving! I find them most interesting animals.
