This is our son Ben and his beloved Sheltie, Duke. At 10 years of age sadly it was discovered that Duke had a tumour on a bone in his skull. We kept him going as long as he was happy and had still had an appetite not only for his supper but also for life. In 2007 Duke was beginning to suffer and this is our last photograph of Ben and Duke together, as I had made this image as Ben was leaving to take him to the Vet. It was time to bid farewell.
