Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Marie Antoinette Overlook located just off of US Route 6 near Wyalusing, Pennsylvania.

Time

It was taken on a late afternoon in February around dusk.

Lighting

Sun was beginning to set.

Equipment

Nikon D3100

Inspiration

I love trying to find historical landmarks/places and also towers/castles. It reminded me of something you would have seen near a old castle. The view looking over the mountains is also breathtaking.

Editing

A small amount of cropping.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3100 body, 2 lenses, backup battery, and variety of filters.

Feedback

Sometimes when I go out to take pictures I'm not sure what I want to photograph. I will just drive around taking different roads to see where there lead, and that is how I happen to come across this photo. You never know what you might find picture worthy, so always be ready. Grab your gear and just see where the road takes you.
