I shiver just looking at this (well done) scene ... can't imagine being the resident, however! Congrats!

Spectacular winter scene, dramatic clouds formation, excellent detail on the hut, nicely compose. Lighting bulb with its light on.....is creating wonderful interest in the image. Textures on the walls and the snow covered rock stones making nice pattern too. Splendid capture.......congrats on the feature.

Location
I took this photo In my home town Akranes In IcelandTime
This photo is taken late in the dayLighting
this is my settings for this photo I set the aperture for f/4 and the speed for 1/30 to To avoid grain I set the iso on 100Equipment
My camera is canon 5D mark 2 lens I used for this photo whas canon 24-70mm and yes I had my camera on tripod :)Inspiration
what gave me the inspiration, was landscape and this beautiful old house and this remarkable stone wall which has over time become part of the history of my home town. When I got there I saw the picture in my head before I took it.Editing
I sharpened it and made it a little brighterIn my camera bag
What I'm always in my bag extra batteries, extra memory cards, remote control, polariser filter cloth to clean the glass lens, lens of my canon 20mm - canon canon 24-70mm 100-400mm and my camera Canon 5D mark 2,Feedback
My advice to you Take your time walking around the subject, see what perspective is best, Use a tripod and take plenty of photos :) and be true to yourself.
