Behind The Lens

Location

New Orleans, Louisiana

Time

9:00 AM

Lighting

It's all natural from early morning sun

Equipment

Canon EOS 7D, 70-200mm F4 lens. Taken hand-held

Inspiration

I was walking along the street from Jackson Square when i saw this guy eating his breakfast. I took the shot but my bad, as a homeless man i forgot to gave him some compensation in return.

Editing

Yes. Conversion from RAW to JPEG to B&W. Increased the shadows and contrast to get this toned picture.

In my camera bag

With this shot, just my old Canon EOS 7D, 70-200mm F4 lens and extra batteries.

Feedback

Street Photography is very challenging and one of my favourites. Shoot with the best angle, best light and less obstruction to the main subject. Be patient and look for something that catches your eyes. Also, in taking pictures of homeless, please try to give something to them in return ... unless you are shooting from afar and unnoticeable.
