This photo was taken in my friend's yard. I just adore sunflowers!!Time
It was taken in the afternoon I do believe. Since I wanted the sunflower to stand out a bit more, I added some pink and orange.Lighting
Since it was July, it was full sun. Using the pink and orange helped mute it a bit.Equipment
A Canon Rebel T3. No other equipment was necessary.Inspiration
My inspiration, as always, is my soul. It seems to know what I need to photograph. I'm sure my love of sunflowers helped!!Editing
Just a little sharpening and enhancing the orange and pink shades so the yellow popped.In my camera bag
My Canon T3, Canon Zoom 75-300 lens ( Great for nature shots of birds and such),and my Canon 18-55 lens as well. That is pretty much it. I am self taught and still consider myself a novice.Feedback
Ideally, you would have the perfect natural light...either early morning or early evening. Sadly, I didn't follow my own advice, but, I still feel that the photo turned out beautiful. Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts when your photographing.
