After many days of no tiger sightings in Kanha, India, I was extremely fortunate to come face to face with this gorgeous female tiger, right as the final rays of the setting sun broke through a clearing in the jungle. She never took her eyes off me, including when she walked around our jeep and was too close for my lens' minimum focal distance. I was convinced she could see through my eyes and into my soul. This was truly one of the most magical moments of my life.
