Koda was sitting in front of me as the sunlight came though the windowEquipment
It was taken with a Nikon D200Inspiration
My inspiration for this photo was to capture our Koda who was our first Rottweiler ... She was 14 years old when I took this and shortly after I took this she passed away .. leaving us with great memories ... We have this hanging on our wallEditing
Not much just turning it to black and white and a little sharpeningIn my camera bag
I still use Nikon cameras , I have a D610 and a D7000 , the lens that I mostly use is a 28-300 Nikkor.. My wife is also a photographer and she uses a D800 and various Nikkor lensesFeedback
Well I started this photographic journey 40 years ago and for the first 25 years only took black and white photos , I always encourage people I meet that want to learn photography to try to master B&W's as it allows you to find your way with lighting ... And whether it is your pets of family or friends look for that moment when everything comes together and .... Shoot... I read a quote years ago that I still follow" if you look though the lens with you eyes wide open, you might be rewarded with a picture of your soul"
