MAEN Y BARDD: This beautifully structured ancient burial chamber lies on the hills high above the River Conwy near the village of Rowen. The very steep 1:4 road twists and turns, eventually changing into a stone strewn track and then a wet muddy byway that leads you directly to Maen y Bardd.
