Behind The Lens

In the shopping center in California, It was behind a mall.
Early in the morning!
I had to keep moving around to find the perfect spot to take the photo because of sun and shade.
Cannon camera, regular lens and lense hood.
I let my gut guide me on what photo to take, I look behind buildings, fences, go down odd streets and my gut always guides me the right direction.
Photoshop just for lighting a little due to the shade.
In my camera bag
Camera, macro lens, regular lens. flash, lens hoods, material to clean lens, larger lens if going somewhere for landscape or ocean. Battery and charger.
To me its. about willing to go off the beaten path. If your gut tells you and pulls you in a direction go, there is usually gold at the end of the rainbow. I always shoot from the gut to my heart On Thanksgiving in the middle of dinner I had this overwhelming feeling to go take a photo of a friend of mines family. one month later their son died in a motorcycle accident. All the photos I took were played at the service, I took a photo of a old barn that I loved, I sent a copy to the owner, they sent me a thank you note and it had burned down 1 week after they received the photo, no other photos taken. I climbed through the woods and found a old truck copied it and blew it up for a friend and come to find out it was their great grandfathers. If I follow my gut and my heart and its never let me down.
