use ISO 100 only. and loony 16 rule for good aperture. Focus the moon at 10x then turn off auto focus and if using tripod turn off image stab. Next get clear focus my scrolling the shutter speed and if you need a filter use a CPL filter tuned to the sky at 90 degrees to moon this will give great color and depth. If doing HDR 3 frame +/- 2 ev AEB multiple shot mode make that first shot your -2 shot. But remember that +2 shot should not go beyond 30 seconds because cameras will not capture in AEB mode beyond 30 seconds. Also use the app TPE to find a good location and to know when and where it will rise. This caught you off guard I know you looked and went oh there it is, Oh and remember moon rise time means the first sliver of moon on the horizon and the horizon is not those trees but lower so as the moon rises every 2 minutes approximately the moon will move to the right it's full diameter.
