I think you have done a great job! I am not sure you need to question whether it is considered a photograph - I think there is always SO much editing done by many photographers, beginning with a photograph and then carrying on from there! It appears you were a good artist! I find Viewbug a great place to load your photos and ask on here what people think of your work! I know I appreciate always the great encouragement and support and feedback I have always received on my work! Take care - keep shooting!

Great work, the essence of photography is taking pictures; the essence of editing is doing something to those pictures. What you have done is artistic combining art with photographs to which you have added texture. As long as you enjoy doing it and people enjoy looking at the result, it does not matter what you call it. Imagery is fun. Well done.

Fantastic colour and I like how you have placed your hand drawn eagle within a digital image. Very creative and thank you for sharing :)

I love this interpretation and showing off ones artistic side is what this site is all about. Experimenting and getting great results is not only fun but shows what a fantastic form of art digital photography along with computerisation can accomplishes. This is really lovely. Well done

In reference to your request, for me to view and give my opinion: The image is defiantly art and evident of a lovely skill. I am making comments here that I learned in ‘old school’ photography in the 1990’s, at Kilgore College, under instructor, Rufus Lovett. Rufus taught that Photography was art, and at that time, the art world denied that to be true. But, time has now totally accepted it as truth, thru the help of commercial advertising world that has exposed Photo imagery to the public eye of its persuasive quality. While in class, when I turned in work to be judged, it had only the image that showed what I captured with my camera and its settings. It was only my ability to control the instrument I was holding… My theme was ‘Always Dealing With The Light’. The beauty of a ‘pearl’ is: “It cannot be improved upon by human hands”. Now that’s photography! The digital world and the editing programs has truly changed the game, and I will say it has improved my work by allowing me to make corrections on images, that otherwise, I would have thrown away. Please, Look at my entries: Flowers in B/W- “Sprig in B/W”, and the same image in, Color of Yellow, “Yellow Expo”. Here is what I wonder… Will no one even look at this to judge, and if they do, will I be judged on what I have in mind, or will it be the skill of my photography, or is it the ability to use editing programs? Who knows? And if someone knows, please share for us who seeks the answer.
