The ferris wheel is the center of activity at the fair. It had just been constructed when I took this photo.

Location
I took this at the Kootenai County Fair in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.Time
It was about 11:00 a.m. on a day in late August.Lighting
A nice sunny day with natural outdoor lighting.Equipment
I used a Sony Nex-6 with a fish-eye lens on this shot.Inspiration
I was cruising around the fairgrounds as the workers were setting up the rides and booths. It was daylight with few people around. This is a beautiful ferris wheel with multiple colors, but I had a new fish-eye lens and wanted to try it out a bit that day!Editing
I only used the minimal tweaking of contrast and sharpening. In my camera bag
I carry a Sony Nex-6, a Sony a6000, a 14mm, 53-200mm, 17-50mm and fish eye lenses, a tripod and bean bag and extra memory cards and batteries.Feedback
The only thing unusual about setting was the few people and distractions that were around at the time. I also had a beautiful cloudy day for a background that would be a plus to the overall image. Using the fish-eye lens on this circular, round subject enhanced the scene, I think.
