First Picture - My Dad - photo 1

This the first picture I took on an ancient Kodak accordion style camera as my dad stood in from of a shiny Meteor Rideau in North Bay, Ontario. The year was 1960 and I was 8 years old. I still remember the day I took the picture, I remember how proud my dad was of that car as he stood in front of the shiny Meteor Rideau and I remember the day I got the picture back from processing. It looked perfect to me. That was the moment the spark of interest in photography was kindled. It just took over another five decades to ignite into a growing passion. I'm as proud of this picture as any other picture I've taken.
