Thank you!! Concert photography is what I love to shoot most! I love th challenge of capturing the energy on stage through a variety of angles.

Thank you very much! Yeah as much as I love concert photography there isn't a lot of money in it. I do it just because I love it. :)

Location
This photo was taken at a place called Bar Louie in Orlando, FLTime
It was taken at night during a concert.Lighting
The lighting for this show was actually pretty good. This was a very small stage in the corner of the bar with a lighting kit on the stage trussing. I had a very clear view of the band as I was standing right in front of the stage.Equipment
For this concert I took the photos with a Canon 20D using an EF 24–105mm f/3.5–5.6 lens.Inspiration
Everything about concert photography inspires me actually. I love the fast pace and the music. I love the challenge of getting just the right shot and I find capturing the energy and raw emotion on stage to be very exciting.Editing
I converted the photo to B&W and sharpened it a bit.In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon 5D Mark II, a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8, a Speedlite 430EX II, and plenty of cards. I have other lenses that I only take with me when they are needed.Feedback
When shooting concert photography always shoot in RAW and clean up your photos after. Use the lowest f-stop possible and adjust your shutter speed and ISO as needed. The faster your shutter speed the better so you can freeze the action and if the lighting levels are low, don't be afraid to bump up the ISO. It can sometimes be a game of trial and error due to the fact that the lighting for every show is different. Aside from figuring out which settings will be best for the lighting of the night, try to anticipate the moves and mannerisms of the band members. It goes a long way in getting just the right shot.
