Behind The Lens

Location

In our garden, San Jose, CA I grow plants that attract bees, butterfloes etc. The honey bee loves blooms of chives.

Time

this photo was taken in 2014, long time ago. I took it probably in the morning. No glaring sunlight. enough light to capture the busy bee .

Lighting

no glaring sun light as it was in the morning. perfect lighting around 8 am

Equipment

Olympus EPL5 Aperture f/7.1?ISO 200?Shutter 1/160?

Inspiration

I love nature, tiny onsects always attract my attention. Honey bee has such huge eyes for a tiny creature, it looked quite attractive on the tiny white chive blooms

Editing

not much. just adjusted for saturation and clarity

In my camera bag

nikon cool pix B500, nikon D5500, Nikon D80, Nikon macro lens, nikon portrait lens, nikon telephoto lens AFP 70-300mm, 4,5-6.3 GED, VR Olympus EPL5, telephoto and macro lenses, UV filters. cleaners. lens papers etc.

Feedback

keep your eyes open for capturing interesting objects, creatures. Always carry the camera with you. Macro and telephotolenses are good for taking shots of tiny creatures. take dozens of shots when you get an opportunity for capturing interesting objects, people or events, scenary, etc
